This is the online home of Avoncroft CC, a village cricket club based in Stoke Heath near Bromsgrove in Worcestershire.

Avoncroft CC is dedicated to building on its heritage as well as encouraging young people into the sport.  We run three Saturday teams, a Sunday side and youth teams of U11's, U12's, U13's, U15's and U16's.  We believe our future success depends on the development of the youth sides and so invest time and resources in coaching and playing.

Events & News

Junior Coaching Sessions

Coaching is now taking place at the ground:

• Under 14's and above - Friday evenings 5.30-7.30
• Under 13's and below - Saturday mornings 9.30-11.30

The age of the junior is assessed at his/her age as at the 30 September last year.

These sessions are always subject to the weather, but will continue until presentations are made on the 12 September.  Please try and be prompt as all aspects of the sessions are important.

Also, please note that every junior member will be required to register on the format the foot of the Junior Section page here before participating in any coaching sessions or games.

Avoncroft CC is Awarded Clubmark

Following an exhaustive process involving detailed audits of all aspects of the operation of the Club, the Committee is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Clubmark by the ECB.

The Clubmark is evidence that the Club has attained the required standard with respect to:

Duty of care and child welfare
Coaching and competition
Sports equity and ethics
Club management

Clubmark will give us the opportunity to benefit from a number of support schemes to further enhance the quality of coaching and facilities at the Club for the benefit of Juniors and Seniors alike.
