This is the online home of Avoncroft CC, a village cricket club based in Stoke Heath near Bromsgrove in Worcestershire.

Avoncroft CC is dedicated to building on its heritage as well as encouraging young people into the sport.  We run three Saturday teams, a Sunday side and youth teams of U11's, U12's, and U15's.  We believe our future success depends on the development of the youth sides and so invest time and resources in coaching and playing.

Click the links on the menu to learn more about us, what we are doing and why.  We look forward to welcoming you at whatever level you play and at any age.

Junior Coaching

U15s will be starting soon, so make sure you're registered. All Juniors are required to register by completing the form in the Junior Section.  If you have any queries, just email us at info@avoncroftcc.co.uk or call Len on 01905 772713.

HELP - If you think you can help us run one of the Junior teams this year, do let us know.  It only requires you to attend matches (usually in the evening) and get to know the skills and abilities of the players.  It can be very rewarding and it helps provide opportunities for the Juniors to get the best from their coaching by playing other local teams.  Call Len on 01905 772713 if you would like to get involved.

Junior Members - Would you like to play for one of the Senior Teams?

The coaches at Avoncroft are keen to provide Juniors with experience of all aspects of the game.  For Junior Members over the age of 13, this includes the opportunity to play for one of our Senior Teams.  Last year, Juniors played a vital role in the success of our Saturday and Sunday League sides, even winning some trophies!  If you would like to be considered, make sure this is indicated on the registration form or let one of the coaches know and then complete the ECB Registration by completing this form.  Let us know if you have any questions. ECB qualification, rules and code of conduct is available here.
