We intend on commencing our 2019 season with outdoor coaching sessions from Friday 26th April (weather permitting).
Changes for 2019 to Outdoor sessions
Due to the growing number of juniors now playing hardball cricket, we have taken the decision that it is sensible to fully split out the training times for softball and hardball cricket. Training times for this season will therefore be as follows:
o 6:00pm to 7:00pm – Softball Group – Under 5s (Reception) to Under 9s (Year 4)
In addition to our usual Softball Group (above), we are delighted to announce that we shall also be running All Stars Cricket (children 5-8 years old) in 2019.
The sessions will run alongside the existing softball training that we will continue to offer, with the Programme also running on Friday evenings from 6pm to 7pm, starting on 17th May. Check out our tweet here
Further details on All Stars Cricket to follow, including our reasons for running the two different programmes of Softball Cricket and information for any parents who need support in making a decision on which one is most appropriate for their child
o 7:00pm to 8:30pm – Hardball Group 1 – Under 10s (Year 5) and Under 11s (Year 6)
o 7:00pm to 8:30pm – Hardball Group 2 – Under 12s (Year 7) to Under 14s (Year 9)
New members
All of our junior cricket coaching sessions are open to boys and girls, and no previous cricketing experience is required. We would encourage children to simply come along for a couple of weeks to see if they enjoy it rather than needing to register and pay up front. Contact details are shown below.
We post updates to our Social Media (Facebook and Twitter) regarding cancellations in sessions due to bad weather, so please do check should this be a possibility.
